I've been radio silent and it's intentional

It’s October 13th, and I didn’t run the last AuthenTech cohort of my coaching program. It was supposed to start in September and be our final hurrah of 2025.

I could tell you it was because of cross-country travel and taking more flights than previously anticipated.

Or IVF (oh boy is that a newsletter in itself).

Or how my body was asking (begging) me to slow down.

All of that is true.

But there was something deeper sitting in my bones:

I hadn’t found the right fit of people for the next cohort.

And I couldn’t make myself continue just to stay on schedule.

It wouldn't be fair to you.

And it wouldn't be fair to me.

Every AuthenTech cohort has its own energy. Magic! if you will. It's a special kind of alchemy that can’t be forced but every time, we seem to get it right, and people create special connections and incredible growth together.

The mix of people, the timing, the readiness to dive in and be real.

It’s something I feel before it even begins.

And this time, I didn’t quite feel it.

I tried to push through. I drafted emails, brainstormed workshops, stared at my calendar and peppered it with to-dos, but, it all felt off. Flat.

Like I’d be performing excitement instead of feeling it.

And I’ve promised myself: I don’t do performative.

If I can’t show up with genuine focus, joy, and curiosity for my clients, I won’t do it at all.

So, I waited.

I spent more time with family and friends.

I saw magnificent sights like this on the Oregon coast:

I was also transparent and vulnerable with my current coaching clients, who said they'd happily wait for the next cohort (you all are gems!).

Now, I can feel the spark again. Revived.

That tingle of "let's do this" and create something wonderful together.

Maybe that's with you.

Maybe this is your season to connect, reflect, and start creating what’s next.

We start soon, and if you’ve been circling this program for a while, now’s the time.

Come join us.

Let’s book a call to see if it’s a mutual fit: Book here →

HI friend, You know what I’ve realized? Since I started using AI, it has actually cost me thousands of dollars. Not because it broke anything. Not because it gave me bad ideas. But because it slowly stripped the joy out of how I work. And that joy? It turns out it was the fuel. For my creativity. For my momentum. And, for my revenue. For context - I run a coaching and consulting business for women and non-binary folks in tech. A big part of how I connect with future clients is by sharing...

“We did it, sister!” Brené Brown says, excitedly high-fiving me. She comes over with her paddle, and we do a celebratory tap with our eternal nemesis— ahem, I mean, our friendly, recreational pickleball opponents. This, my friend, is not the recounting of a fever dream. It’s a story about how I met THE Brené Brown at pickleball last week. photo credit: Brené’s instagram. the woman loves pickleball I was in my fourth hour of playing when, post-match, a sunny-dispositioned woman comes up to me....

I've spent the last couple months house-sitting in Honolulu. And part of my task was to keep a couple of plants alive. Succulents, specifically. Which should be easy enough, right? "Can you take care of a few plants?" my friend asked."Yes, of course," I said. "With a doubt." Because how hard could it be. Succulents.Low-maintenance. Thrive in neglect. The chillest of houseplants. But I fussed over it.“I’ll water it now just in case I forget later.”“This sun is intense - better top it off.” “If...
